WHAT MOVEMENT EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY?

These practices are open to all bodies and movers regardless of experience! Some experience in yoga asana is supportive and can help you to feel more comfortable as practices push the boundaries of traditional yoga classes. My advice is to dive in and be patient as you learn. New pathways will take time to integrate but play inside the bounds of your body and watch the depth and embodiment evolve.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR CLASSES?

All you need is your body, a mat, sometimes a little extra space around your mat. All Innerstanding practices can be done without props even when props are cued. If you like to support your practices with props, Sayer recommends 2 yoga blocks, a blanket, a bolster and a yoga strap. 

WHEN AND HOW OFTEN ARE NEW CLASSES ADDED TO THE LIBRARY?

New classes will be uploaded on a weekly basis. As this is a community-based platform, we love the feedback from Innerstanding members and will always try to meet the desires of the bodies showing up to practice! 

HOW DO I PURCHASE A SUBSCRIPTION?

Subscribing to Innerstanding gives you unlimited 24/7 streaming access to all videos we have included in the Subscription package, for a recurring monthly price of $40 or tri-monthly price of $105. The number of videos included in the Subscription package will vary, as the library is always growing with new classes. 

HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

Canceling your subscription is easy. Simply login and click My Account, then select Billing. Scroll down and you'll see a Change Plan button. Click Change Plan, then click Cancel Membership. Once you've canceled, you won't be charged again, but your membership will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

CAN I GET A REFUND?

Subscriptions are non-refundable. If you are on a monthly recurring subscription you may cancel at any time and will not be charged for further months. You will still have access to the videos until the period you have paid for expires. If you are on a 3 month subscription you may cancel at any time but will not be refunded for the remaining period of your subscription. You will still have access to the videos until your three months ends. No further charges will be made once you cancel your subscription.

CAN I PRACTICE INNERSTANDING CLASSES IF I'M PREGNANT/POSTPARTUM?

Always check with your doctor before starting any movement programming. While all Innerstanding practices are modifiable, they are not specifically geared to pregnancy/postpartum. For specific questions, email Sayer directly through contact button below.

It is so important to keep moving your body in an integrated, embodied way during this beautiful chapter of life - if you have an established yoga/dance practice pre-pregnancy these classes will hold you well. If this form of movement is newer to you, I recommend working one-on-one for more curated support.

I'M INJURED. CAN I STILL DO THESE CLASSES?

You should always check with your doctor/pt/osteopath to ensure you are cleared for exercise. If you feel comfortable knowing your bodies boundaries working with injury, all classes can be modified.
